I like these. They remind me of the creeks in the Pocono Mountains of PA where I used to camp with the Girl Scout.

Have a mate hold up a patch of black cloth to let the glass reflect the black instead of the lights or other people. And.. if you want to shoot straight on, wear dark clothing and consider a dark blankey for your camera to peek out of.

Thanks for this advise! I have tried before with a black tack board, but never big enough.
Will try a black sheet.

Try having a helper hold the picture tilting the top out over the bottom. This will deflect the reflection down, away from the camera, instead of right back at it...

I'll try that! No sheet or black cardstock required!!! Cases at Library really reflected EVERYTHING! Our club
will be exhibiting at the local mall in April & there too have terrible reflections. Hard to document the show
with such horrid photos! Thanks for this suggestion!

Just want to know how you submit a photo to this challenge

Below the white "reply" box is a "Browse" button. This will show a bunch of photos that you have stored
on your computer. Highlight & open your preference. Check the "Store Original" box and hit "Add attachment". When it uploads to the site, it will show a small selection with a box underneath to "Name your entry". Make sure to update it so it shows above your photo.

You can add several additional photos by repeating the process...."Browse", highlight & Open your preference, check the "Store Original", and Add Attachment.....

Hope this helps you to enjoy UHH & participate in these Challenges.

Hope the Show goes well Lavonne I really like the Horse Image..Pg. 8

These are the Mackinac Island horses. Seems everyone likes this shot, but these horses just hung their heads and didn't seem to enjoy what they were doing. I was disappointed in the "carriage" rides as it seemed to this Midwestern gal more of a "hayrack" ride. Have to introduce them to Apache Trailers and their "People Movers" from Nebraska!!! lol

p.8 Congrats on the entries. Love the horses.

Guess I like them to be more spry! I was disappointed with the "Carriage" ride. To this mid-western gal it was more of a hay-rack ride!!! Had to climb up onto the waist high floor & sit on plank seats! Have to introduce them to Apache Trailer's People Movers! We use these low slung trailers a lot for weddings, etc

I didn't have a choose file button or add attachment button, only the reply box

They should appear right under the "Reply" button when you are logged in. Under the row of icons. "Choose File" and select one from your computer (I put my intended posts in a desktop folder) After "choose file" yoou should see the file name. Then move to white box "add attachment" and in a little bit you should see your file uploaded. You can add additional files the same way. You will see 2 identical screens - one has red title stating it is the preview and reminds the poster to "click send" The "send" is directly under the reply box to which you added the images. Hope this helps. I am attaching a "screen shot" showing the "choose File" and "add attachment" buttons. Sorry for the tardy reply...

Used to live in MI and have been to Mackinac Island - beautiful place. In fact, it was so long ago, there wasn't even a bridge between the 2 peninsulas.

I had some of my photos made into jigsaw puzzles. Both 1000 piece and 500 piece puzzles.
