Some that were and one that wasn't meant to be at Black Point Drive.

Nice variety and some fine reflections!
Thank you, Karin. The reflections were free on this beautiful day.
Great comeback Carol. I really like the reflections.

After three months of not really being able to shoot, it feel great to get back out there. Last Thursday we spent the morning on Merritt Island at Black Point Wildlife Drive. The variety of birds was good and their numbers were OK - not great but adequate. Missing were Great Blue Herons and Reddish Egrets. I only saw a couple of Snowy Egrets but it was an excellent outing and I am happy with the results.
I really wanted shots of the beautiful Green Heron that I spotted but it wasn't to be.

Rub it in!!! Eighty degrees sounds really nice to me. Today it's about 18 degrees, but the sun is out and blue skies. I don't have to shovel today because the neighbor kids (6, 7, and 9) came last night and shoveled the driveway and walk. They work for candy. Before I could get out and clean up the new snow this morning, another neighbor came over took care of everything. He's a Doctor, and occasionally works for beer.
It's going to be a few months before I see 80 degree weather.

Thank you, Corky. It was so nice to be over there. I'm anxious to go back. It's an hour's drive for us so not too bad.
