Furgie....

This is my before head-shot.
I'm getting ready to go in for my spa day, and I'm pretty sure I well be posting an after spa head-shot later today....
A side note to let you guys know....Tomorrow I well be going in for surgery. My left knee-cap keeps popping out of place and this time it well not go back in place. They are going to have to shave a new groove in my leg for the knee-cap to go into, and they are hoping that I have not done any damage to my ACL, otherwise that is going to have to be repaired also. They have a scale rating of 1 to 4 , with 4 being the worst. Mine is rated border-line 3-4. If it were to become a 4 it would not be repairable. They say it is probably going to be anywhere from 2 to 3 months before I well be able to walk much without having help. We will be keeping you all informed on my progress...
Furgie...

P.S. This was just one head-shot, but decided to include 2 more photo's. What can I say, I'am very parcel to this little one.

Nice shots of your cute pup. However, I would have taken off the collar. The green registration tag takes away from the photos.

Sweet puppy! I sure hope she doesn’t have to have the ACL surgery. I feel for you having to keep her quiet after surgery! My Gracie will say puppy prayers for her.
Great shots!

Thanks for the prayers....
Funny that I call her puppy also, many people that see her think she is a puppy too. But she actually is going to be 10 years old in March.

Update on Furgie...
She came home today, 2/8 seems to be doing well.
She cannot at this time place any weight on her left leg.(makes for an interesting potty time).
She is medicated, so she doesn't seem to be any pain at this time.
Going to be a long recovery for her though, 8 to 12 weeks.

Thanks so much for the update, Tom! I'm so glad Furgie's surgery went well, and I hope she remains pain free! Please do keep us up to date on how she's doing. I honestly thought you were talking about your knee.

So glad your Furgie is home and doing ok. I know how hard those recovery times can be, trying to keep them calm and having to help with potty time and walking. I had two mini Aussies years ago that had to have hip surgeries and I spent an entire summer working with both of them, it's a lot of work, but well worth it. Hugs to your sweet girl ♥ ♥
