Your colophon/signature/trademark looks at least as important as any element in your photos. Not meant as an insult, just a peeve of mine seen in all too many submissions. None of us are Ansel Adams, Hoyningen-Huen, et al.

Sorry you feel that way. If you had ever had a photo stolen from you, you would possibly sign yours also. It is not a perfect way to protect ones photos, but it helps.

I didn't realize there were any reasonably intact WWII boats still around. Might be worth a trip to San Fran to take the wife through one still outfitted and fully cramped with gear. The boat I served on was the USS Catfish SS339, basically the same class as the Pampanito but with many refit upgrades.

Check before you take the trip. These boats were not open to the public. They do have some in Hawaii that are boardable.

I checked online & they do have tour tickets for sale. I've taken my wife aboard the USS Cavalla in Galeston which is now a static display & pretty well stripped out. Just not the same as one with all of the clutter still in place.
