Sorry about the before capture as I was unsure of posting 2 pics as this is my first time here in this section. I just wanted a high contrast, high saturation presentation of a High Noon capture. Processed in ACR and give a little oomph and HDR effect in Topaz. Yes, I know its over the top but I was looking for a little Pop.

Thanks guys... I just live 2 blocks from this site and have seen it with my natural eyes , whose dynamic range I could never duplicate , hundreds of times; so I move the sliders a little to bring out the strata texture of the rocks and get the colors really saturated. Not for everyone, but I like it ! Thanks again for your comments.

Now I'm jealous that you only live 2 blocks away! Ha!

like everyone else I enjoyed the intensity. My only disappointment was the pixilation when I attempted to expand and fill my screen with your excellent shot.

Yeah, I hear you Shutered.... the perils sometimes of excessive, over the top processing. Late night Caffein seems to push them sliders a little hard. Maybe we will keep this as a 5x7.

You mentioned that you used Topaz. If you would run this image through Topaz Clarity it would pretty much clear up the pixalation of the sky and other areas in the image. I like a little extra pop also.
