I can relate to that. I’ve heard that the mind/memory is the second thing to be lost as we age.
I have heard memory is the first and, umm, I can't remember what the other 2 are...
What Linda SJ said. Did the same. Works fine.

I always heard that memory was second. However, I cannot remember what is first.
I have ACDSee Photo Studio Standard 2019. I have been using previous versions for years. It is an excellent program. Try it for 30 days for free.

Hi Everyone: What's the best SIMPLE, free or not, replacement for PICASA that modifies and catalogs pictures other than Adobe Elements or something in the cloud? Also can PICASA on a Windows 7 computer be switched to the same computer to Windows 10 at the end of this year when Microsoft no longer will support Windows 7? Thanks Bob
I have the same issue as you.... There are numerous excellent alternatives to Picasa (which has not been updated for several years), but at least as far as I am concerned, a main problem is that these alternative programs are good at cataloging, etc., but do not in most cases ALSO import photo-specific tags that were used to label Picasa pictures. Maybe not a problem when one has a small number of such pictures, but when one it comes to dealing with 20,000+ tagged photos, it's a different matter. I likewise welcome suggestions on this subject.

Faststone is free and better than Picasa and no learning curve it does more also then just catalog. Picasso will also run on Windows 10, all you have to do is redownload it unless you saved the download from previous. Whenever I install the program I always save the download makes it a whole lot easier to reinstall if you change computers.
Picasso is the dude who used to paint for living. Picasa is the program that the OP is referring to...
Don't act stooopid! The first to go is sustaining an erection! However, I don't remember what it's used for.
Give Luminar a try. If you can still get Luminar 2018, that may be easier, as LUkinar 3 still has some bugs reported to UHH. I have both and, for now, do all my work on LUminar 2018. When time allows, I'll get a handle on 3.
