Thanks, Donna and glad that the weather is better down your way, and even though it's dreary here things could be much worse, and feel so sorry for all the people subjected to such extreme cold! We are all ok and hope that you guys are also and think tomorrow is forecast to be quite a bit warmer and already see some jonquils peeking out from the ground. Many thanks,dancers and wish that we could send a little of the cold air your way. Actually we were very fortunate as it was only moderatly cold in our area witha low of about +20*F but in the colder areas it was down to the minus twenties degrees F with a high of below zero degrees F. Sure hope that you have some relief from the heat and take care!

I read just now that two dozen people have died from the cold there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I can't imagine such cold.

I read online that the extreme temperatures were causing Frost Quakes and they explained that was when the water froze deep in the ground and caused explosive like cracking on the surface and people said that they could not sleep for the continuous noise.
