Try this one Roadrunner, I've used it often and it does a good job for a free-by.

Try Image Composit editor, from Microsoft, AKA ICE

If you already have Photoshop, it does an excellent job with its Photomerge function.

Works nicely on one that I tried. Much simpler than the current method I was using, especially with the fill. Seems to use almost all of the images. Now to look for another test set of images.

Photoshop...merge multiple images. I pretty much use it every time I’m shooting landscapes.

Having done a fair amount of panos/stitching I recommend having both Lightroom/Photoshop and ICE. There are times when one or the other fail to give you the results you're looking for. It's handy to be able to try the other one then. And ICE is free..

Especially if you don't have LightRoom or Photoshop.
