Icy Cold Blue Hour

I traveled around Banff and Jasper National Parks two weeks ago It was below freezing most of the week but not snowy. It was 8 degrees Fahrenheit the morning this photo was taken. We were there for over 90 minutes before sunrise. Of course, after all that waiting, the sunrise was not that spectacular but the blue hour was pretty nice.

I wouldn't have been there for 90 minutes in 8 degrees but the other photographers knew not to trust me with the car keys.

National Geographic quality shot! If I were to visit your home and not see that on your wall, I'd probably kick you in the butt!
