A year or two. I’ve used with my Canon 5D3 and both a Windows Laptop and an IPad as controllers. It works extremely well, allowing control of camera functions, live view and downloading images. It also has excellent range. I also prefer it to hard wire tethering - more convenient and no USB cable to trip over which can send a camera or laptop or both to the floor. Selling because I traded up for a 5D MK IV with built-in WiFi, so I no longer need it.
