I guess I'm spoiled. With a Sony RX10M4, I can shoot a burst up to 24fps, and I can record 1500 or so raw files on a 32 gb card. I almost never do either.
Spray and pray. Surely you need to think before pressing the shutter. If you are whale watching or birds in flight or anything moving quickly the answer is yes. If it is a sloth or a bird in a tree or a cat sleeping single shot would be the better plan. Just because you can shoot at 10fps does not mean you have to.
