I'm curious what you think of it. Personally I don't care for the tilt nor the balance, but I know there are other here that do like tilted portraits. Again, just my taste, but if you rotate the image so that the angle halfway between the tilt of your faces is vertical which then necessarily crops in on the faces, yields a composition I like much better.

Like the lighting, don't like the tilt. What was the light source? Was the light modified? Did you apply any skin smoothing techniques?
love the sparkle of catch light in the iris... lovely pearl ear decor.... and accessory necklace...
what would have helped? male grooming... your eyebrows would benefit from shaping and brow gel...
yes I'm a commercial makeup artist and do lots and lots of male grooming on commercial shoots...
also please consider enlisting the talent of a wardrobe stylist... your mate's raven black leaf pattern blouse is somewhat a distraction... does not compliment her brunette tousled tresses or beautiful radiant warm golden skin tones...
That said, I love the image... so adorable.... the "tilt" works well in my humble estimation...
Hope this helps...
I wish you well on your journey Greg Huntsinger
Great image. I would prefer less tilt.
