Some folks on the forum asked me to post some X-T3 photos/videos. So here are a few. Some are jpegs and some are raws converted to jpegs. Very little editing- lifting of shadows, decrease in highlights, a little sharpening is mostly all that was done. One is real dark which was intentional as it was getting dark out. A couple of very short videos are added with no edits at all because I really haven't had time to learn video editing. I selected videos that had changes in focus so you could evaluate Fuji's continuous focus in the X-T3. Remember I am a video novice so don't evaluate the photographer- just the video quality. All hand held - images and video.

Oops no video- says files too big so I will add separately when I figure how to downsize the video.

Thanks! I am working on getting a couple of videos
uploaded so that you can check out that. I was able to get two uploaded to my Flickr account but I have to figure out my public link for that account.

It looks like you have mastered that 55-200. I just took a look at your Flickr page and was very impressed with the focusing and clarity. I hope my T2 utilizes that lens as well although I suspect the T3 is a significant upgrade in the focusing dept.? (I have neglected my Flickr page - you may have inspired me to pay attention to it a little more ;)

Glad you were able to connect.
The 55-200 mm lens stays on my camera most of the time. It's the longest lens I own from Fuji. It's the one I use for video. I have a video that I did of my little dog running after the ball. It is the video that shows the continuous auto focus on the X-T3 best as she is running away and then towards the camera and stays in focus the whole time.

As far as the X-T2, the video continuous auto focus was fine after the latest update and when I upgraded to faster memory cards AND put the camera on continuous focus mode while doing video. I think the X-T3 is a bit smoother hand held but that's easily corrected by using a tripod or monopod or some type of stabilization.

The hawk was up in the tree looking around for an easy meal and he spies the quail lawn ornaments. Quick as a flash he jumps down to check out the quail. He figures out right away they aren't going to be lunch and returns to the tree to watch for pigeons returning to my roof- after about another 5 minutes he gives up and flies away. He or one just like him and a Sharp Shinned hawk visits my yard at least on a weekly basis- probably more often- I just don't see it. But more than once there have been pigeon feathers laying around.

The little birds hide in a big bush and the last time the Sharpie visited he jumped into the bush and then out again in nano seconds. I didn't see whether he got anything or not.

PS- The quail are made in Mexico and sold at a garden center here.

Nice set, but even though I love bird shots I think the dog is the star of the show.

That is awesome! I have a red tail that visits the sycamore trees in the front of the house but behind the neighbors house, and just out reach of the Tamron 100/600 G2. A few times I have seen him in the yard and on the light pole and no camera in hand. Need to lure him in some weekend with some yard art and the camera ready to go! LOL

Once they come to your yard they are not shy like the little birds. If you don't do something to startle them they will sit until they are ready to leave which is usually several minutes even if they see you. They are fascinating to watch. I whistled at the last hawk which made him fly off. The little birds hide and the doves and pigeons fly away so when your yard becomes very quiet there is probably a hawk lurking close by.
