Some unbelievable pictures taken by some pretty fair picture takers. Don't quite know where exactly to post something like this. Can't in the gallery as none are by me (I wish). If it isn't could someone tell me exactly where it should go??

Great! Thanks for Sharing!!
That first one is amazing!
Very nice and I appreciate having the opportunity to see them - thanks!
Those REALLY are remarkable!
Whoever says what's good about a photograph is subjective should compare it to these.
Amazing photographs!
Sea lions certainly live up to their namesake with a maw like that! And the wave and mountain are nothing short of spectacular!

Fantastic captures Ron, thanks for sharing.
I've seen some of these on Nat'l Geo publications (I think), but that lightening bolts photo I'd really like to know more about.

Pretty amazing! Something to said for being in the right place at the right time!

Don't know much about any of these pictures other than a bit of information included with each pic. This is what was included with the lightening one. Hope this info helps.
(The winning image in the 'beauty of nature' category shows lightning ripping through a volcanic eruption.
It was snapped by Francisco Negroni from Chile. He said: 'This photograph was taken during a violent night eruption of the Calbuco volcano in the Lagos region, Chile. An incredible dirt storm wraps the fumarole of the erupting volcano')
Dont know if any of these pics were in Nat. Geo. but all were winners or highly placed in the Siena International Photo Awards.
