The reviews claim it's marginally better than the 6300. I think I'll stick with my 6300 and save $900. No image stabilization either.
At $900 and up, I'll keep what I have.
If you were looking to enter the Sony system with an a6300, the a6400 instead might make sense.
If you are already using Sony crop cameras, or thinking of entering with an a6500, I'd wait to see what the rumored a7000 has to offer.

I'm still happy with my a6000 and 24-105 f/4. But.... Sony keeps trying and I get pulled a little closer with each iteration.
Methinks that I will wait for the D7000. If it is a quality leap from the d6000, I may make the leap. If the D7000 is not a quality leap from the D6000, I will give the A7iii another look.........or make a sandwich, take a nap and wait for the GAS to disappear.
