I too like baseball, although a lifelong Giants fan. And watched a lot of Hopalong on tv as a kid. I always remember him ordering a sarsaparilla in the saloons. Nice idea, and work.

Thank you.

My camera club recently had a “toys in the attic” monthly category, asking for photos of old toys that mean something to you. The commentators liked my entry. The camera still works, and that baseball gets no use other than shelf space. I’m still taking photos and am still a Yankee fan.

Nice one John.

John, I wish I had an attic. The photo is great and you should have gotten some type of mention.

Very nice, John, and when very young was a fan of the old "wait til next year" Brooklyn Dogers, then the Yankees, as their triple A farm team was in Richmond for a number of years, and then after they had been gone for several years the triple A Braves team came to town and stayed many years before leaving, but now pretty much a Washington Nationals fan and virtually all theirs games are brodcast to our area.

"still a Yankee fan" When I was a kid we used to walk to Yankee Stadium. We also used to wait for the train to come into the station and jump the turnstile to get the train to the Polo Grounds or Ebbitts Field. To this day, like you still a Yankee fan. Do know what Mikey's number was when he first played for the Yanks?
You have some nice momentoes.
