I wasn't able to get close enough to this one to get a better shot.



It is sometimes disheartening to see the deterioration of the old engines for lack of funds.

When I saw it in 2013 it was up at Steamtown up in Scranton, PA. According to Wikipedia, it shows it there in 2015.

Beyond that, I have no idea. Sorry. Perhaps contact Steamtown for further info.

Just wondering, if it's at Steamtown they are probably going to restore it, I hope!

That is a good question.

I would like to know who is the legal owner of the engine at this time. There are several pieces around the country that are on loan to the various museums and towns, but what the terms are I have no knowledge. Also, even the the museums exchange pieces with each others.

When I lived in Denver, I volunteered at the Colo. Railroad Museum, some of their things were privately owned and there on loan.
