Idorado Creek, San Juan Mountans, Colorado

Idorado Creek, San Juan Mountains, near Ridgeway, Colorado (taken at mining ghost town near Ironton).
This is what happens when mine tailings enter enter the water (tailings are the materials left over after the process of separating the valuable fraction from the uneconomic fraction (gangue) of an ore.

Nice photo but I have a question, should that be Eldorado Creek?

Actually the Creek is named Red Mountain Creek in the Red Mountain Mining District. As an answer to you question it is not El Dorado, it is the Idarado (I mispelled it above) Mining Complex on Red Mountain Pass.
