Love them both. The black and white is, as someone else said, foreboding and mysterious.

I prefer the color version a little over the black and white.

I often prefer mono to color but in this case I like the color version better. The reason is the lower half of the frame in the mono version is lighter than my taste. However I need to be honest and say I am partial to deep blacks and shadows in bw images. That’s just me though. We all see and appreciate things a little unique to ourselves. Nice subject/images.

Thank you for the detailed comment, and your remarks are valid. Admittedly, I am not very proficient in the conversion to b&w so I appreciate all the help I can get.
