I used this picture to make a water color and posted it in another section. I started out with a full photo of Ashlie but wanted just a portrait of her. Using just this part of the photo caused showed some blotchiness on her skin that needed to be addressed. As it turned out I think I might have smoothed a but too much.

When I looked at the download . I did noticed right off the bat for a close up like this , skin pores were almost completely removed , even when clicking on the download after opening it which allowed me to zoom in closer , pores were barely visible. If that is what you were shooting for , then the photo lighting and colors look very nice . If the removal of the pores is why you think you went to far , I have to agree . But I also know some people use a lot of make up to cover pores and other skin defects . Not saying she did since I can't see the original . Tommy

Ps , curious what you think why you went too far

I was having a problem while cropping the full body picture to make it a portrait, it started to showing blotchiness. As I started to smooth the blotchiness I also was removing pores. I am aware some people totally object to skin being too smooth.
