To me it would jam the picture up too close to the left hand side. Thanks for taking the time to look at my post and leave a comment. Grandpaw

I still like the original the best. I post a lot of close up portrait type images and this one I wanted to show a little more of the environment instead of my usual close up image. All opinions are welcome but this represents exactly what I was going for!

They do look that way in most of my portrait type shots I take but sometimes they can stretch their necks out a couple of feet and they look totally different.

Stay with the original. You’ve managed to get some great exposure balance with the brilliant and super sharp white against the dark and super sharp wood. Great shot.
