Beautiful ritual object, beautiful photograph, wonderful capture of light. I, for one, would not eliminate the black line at the top. It shows that the two "columns" on the sides "end" at the top. If you eliminated the line, I think, you would miss the fact that the "frame" does not continue across the top, and it would give the impression that the photograph was cropped too short. Just my observation. Good luck in the calendar competition.
