I use Mac and I'm able to create stunning slide shows using Fotomagico.

I'm trying to make a slide show of my nature photos from a local state park. The program I'm working with, the only one I now have, is whatever came with Windows 10. Very frustrating. It won't allow me to move images around the presentation, without re-labelling them, as they have an auto number/alpha sequence that I can't override. It's not practical to name, then rename several times, the same image several times, in order for me to get the 'flow' that I want. Any suggestions you have would be appreciated, even if it costs me a few bucks. My thanks in advance - Strix.

Powerpoint is easy and does a great job.
As others say there are other options but Powerpoint is universal and most people have the program and can run the show on their computer.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I certainly do appreciate all the knowledge UHH'ers have, and are willing to share.

A decade ago, I would create PowerPoint slides and save them as video clips. Then I would import them into iMovie and add narration, licensed production music, and “live on tape” video clips. I made dozens of short, highly detailed, step-by-step training videos this way.

I have been using Pro Show Gold for some time now and it is the only way to go in my opinion.
