I don't know about other Nikon DSLR models but I know this business will repair grey market model D7100. Here is the info and maybe it will help someone with a grey market Nikon needing repair. Just email or call and give the model number.

I read an article about a year ago, that Nikon USA had authorized certain vendors to repair certain Gray Market Cameras. I think there were only 3 cameras on that list. Nikon does not supply parts to non authorized repair shops. Canon, on the other hand, I've been told, has a different policy when it comes to repairing Gray Market Cameras. The D7100 is a very popular camera.

Don't know their stance on gray market repairs but I live near C.R.I.S. and have used them before. They do a great job and are reasonable and quick. Many of the pros in the Phoenix area use them. Very reputable.

Good to know. We have a good quality camera service shop here in Longmont, CO - Key Camera - but I come to Phoenix for about a month or more each winter, and it's nice to have an option while there. I've been curious about the gray/grey market topic since I've been checking prices on some "maybe-someday" things, and have found some remarkable prices ...some admitting to being grey market and some not, but suspicious.
