WiFi SD Cards

Several years back I had the experience of a faulty SD card, it might have been a manufacturing fault, or it could have been poor handling on my part. So after some research, I decided to buy a WiFi Sd card so I did not need to remove it from the camera and insert it into my PC to prevent losing any photographs again.
It was an EyeFi card, quite expensive but worth every penny over the years and it is still in use, I now have three, one in each camera.
The main advantage is that when I take a photograph the image is transferred instantly to my phone/tablet so I can view them on the go, at the end of the day I can transfer the images to my PC or storing and editing. One bonus I discovered was the photographs were GeoTagged which to me is a very useful extra.
EyeFi was taken over a year or so ago by Toshiba, they also have their own App for Andriod and iPhone, very few changes have been made so I am not affected by the takeover.
Any members interested in these cards will find that EyeFi cards have become very thin on the ground but Toshiba's Flashair(now up to vs W-04) are readily available and rather cheaper than the EyeFi SD card.
Do any other members use Toshiba or EyeFi wireless cars and what do you think the "Keenai" App

I've given up on Eye Fi Cards since they gave up on me. I was no longer able to get them to send images to my computer. They all worked for several years. At some point, they stopped working with my computer. Maybe it was after a Windows update or getting a new computer. As you said, they are not cheap, so I'd like to be able to use them again. They were great when they worked.

These cards can have some strange behaviour occasionally such as all the images transfer except one, and the next time you use the card up pops the missing one!
Certain cameras do not like them although I have three different makes and they all work OK, the real problem can be the battery running down can affect the transfer.
I do not transfer images to my PC, only to my phone on the go so I have no experience with using my PC.
