Few Paris Street Scenes.
I stopped off in Paris in 1965 on my way home from Germany. I thought it about the most beautiful city I had ever seen. Your photos are excellent. Thanks for stirring my memories. I've never had a chance to go back.
Really nice travel pics.
For those of us who have never been able to visit Paris, could you post some names for the sites photographed?
Thanks GES for viewing. Here are the sites as best I can recall...
1. Arc de Triomphe 2.Avenue Champs-Élysées 3.Restaurant Fouquet - Avenue Champs-Elysees 4.Unknown street near our hotel 5 & 6 Night walk along the Seine (not far from Notre Dame)
7. Unknown building near our hotel 8. Bridge over the Seine with Notre Dame/Saint Chapelle in background.
9. Pedestrians near hotel
Thank you for your information.
I guess we all want that fabulous walk around camera that shoots like a DSLR but can fit in a pocket.
I thought about the Sony RX100 4 (cheaper than its successor the VI) but it is a bit pricy but also an amazing piece of work. But your images were very impressive also, hence the indecision.
Oh well, what we need are adapters for a 100 - 400mm to attach to a pocket camera.
Happy New Year,
That's the Paris I remember.
Thanks Don, you just saved me a lot of money. Your Images are so good and I enjoyed them so much I don't need to go.
Thanks for the post: Don
I love your series Don. I could spend all day looking at them.
Thank you everyone for viewing and your constructive and gracious comments. This is a great forum and I feel fortunate to have found it. Happy New Year to all.
