The 70-200 2.8 VR2 is new? I would have thought this would have been long in your key arsenal of sports lens.

Very interested in what you think of the range and where you end up keeping its length most of the time. From your “typical” perch at the baseline, I think near the paint, currious to see if it is too long (or too long a lot). Looking forward to results.

I had the older version and upgraded to the newer one. The next lens is out of my price range so I hope this helps the fast focus issues.
