In 1985 I was in Copenhagen, Denmark were I stopped to photograph this Morris Minor van.
The Morris Minor Traveler was one that I always liked although I understand the wood restoration
is not easy. Just the thing for those narrow British roads.

Very unusual/rare ! - I always wanted to put a small block Ford in one of these for a street/sleeper ! 8-)
This post brings back fond memories.
In 1958, I graduated college and began my first paid teaching assignment.
I bought a used Morris Minor Woodie. It was a sedan.
After a year or so, I had mechanical problems, and I removed the head,
took it to a shop, where they ground the valves.
I reinstalled the head and kept it for a few more years.
Thanks for reminding me.

We voyaged down the River Shannon in 2010, stopping to explore towns along the river. I was astonished to find this MM in seemingly perfect condition.

As the British would say "Lovely".
This is my 1961 Morris Traveler, The wood is in great shape.

Great picture! Except for color, exactly the car I owned.
I'm an old drag racer and had a similar thought when I first bought the car 25 yrs ago. I am a chevy guy so it would have been a 283 small block. After starting to work on it I thought it would be better served to keep it stock and restore it. Thanks for your response, I just joined the site because I just bought a canon 80-D with a 35-135 lens and a 55-250 lens after the fact found out it was grey market and joined the site for some opinions. It arrived and everything was in canon boxes and seems ok. I guess the only downside is the US warranty from canon is not there. There is a 1 yr warranty from the seller. I have been reading the manual for four days now, a lot to learn if I don't want to use on AF all the time.
Thanks Again

Nice one--I had completely forgotten about the Morris Minor brand.
I bought a right-hand drive 1954 MM convertible when I started grad school in Maryland in 1960 and drove it for about 3 years. Not very reliable but very easy to repair.

Bought one with a Vauxhall Viva motor in it. Went like a rocket but the brakes were totally inadequate!!
