Just some USN aviation pictures.
The jet pictures were taken back in the day on the USS FDR CVA 42 and the P3s were taken probably in the 80s.
Very cool. Nice to be right where the action is, with a camera.

Very enjoyable.
I was a ship's company AO aboard USS Forrestal (CVA-59) 1967-69.
That last P3 looks like it could be on final to Moffett NAS. The hills look familiar.

My husband served on the USS FDR CVA during the Viet Nam War, he was a boson's mate.
The 4th picture was the squadron I was in, VA 72. The older I get the better the sea duty was. This past Sunday I talked to my Division Officer after almost 50 years. Time does fly and nostalgia never fades.
These are shots of our hard working self sacrificing military men and women in action .., make me proud .. thnx for posting ... gives me the warm and fuzzy ... God Bless our military ....πΊπΈπΊπΈπΊπΈπΊπΈππ

Great shots, brings back memorys when I was in the US Navy with VQ-1.We had the first photo,a A-3 which we used for recon missions.
Nice! I'm partial to p3's as I flew them out of Moffett field in the 60's, 70's.
Love the third one, looks like it could be a Victor III. Great shot.
Thanks for your service,I was on the Shangri-La from 66-70 as a ships company AO.

Yeah. The first ones look like F4B's. Of course, if they had USMC on the fuselage they would be more impressive.
