Annie, thank you for the nice compliments. I fear a computer breakdown too.......so I have two external hard drives that I store all my photos on. They are duplicates just in case one of the hard drives takes a nose dive. Here's a good way to remember your photos: The longer is was from when you took those photos, the better they were! lol

How I wish it was me! I am seeing that most expect him to make it, so I will say no, he bailed before being in a total wipeout. 🌊🌊🌊

Thanks for the great shot. I miss watching surfers. It is hard to tell if he makes it out! If he is moving faster than the curl, he is home free.

hipines, this is a rare day at Newport Beach.........."The Wedge". I say rare because the surfers only surf it when conditions are just right. Most of the time it's boogie boarders and body surfers with a rare time with skimboards.
You are right, that he got worked and rolled.

Red in Colorado, the wave was a close out and there was no way the surfer could make it.
