My grandparents, in retirement lived in So Cal. Their next door neighbor was a Hanna Barbera cartoonist. He was the creator of the oringinal drawings of what the Flintstone’s characters would look like. Once the concept of the cartoon was set it was his job to design their appearance. He could whip out drawings lickity split for visiting kids while sitting in his yard. Those were the days. Thanks for sparking a fond memory.

Oh yes, I remember them....the Marlboro man commercials i thought were always fun.
Myself personally have NEVER smoked...3 of my 4 G-parents smoked, both of my parents smoked...I have a sister also and she also has never touched a cigarette in her life. My G-parents all smoked Camels non filter as did my Dad...my Mom smoked Chesterfields. My Dad and his Dad both died from emphysema..My Mom and my other Grandparents died of natural causes...My Mom smoked for over 60 years and when she died her lungs were in perfect condition per an autopsie we had done on her when she passed. ..

Haha, I remember back in the late 70's, meeting women in bars by impersonating the Marlboro Man. What a blast, actually being looked up to for giving people cancer. But, by then I had quit smoking for over 20 years.

I remember those! But I don't remember the Flintstones commercial.

I also remember "are you grown up enough for Granny Goose" (potato chips)
