Cloudy, misty day...nothing to shoot. The reflection on the water caught my eye. Converted it to B&W. What do you think, suggestions?

I think you conversion to B&W very good. Picture has to start out with strong contrast and yours does that gets you the true value of B&W. I saw one the other day and about half of it was soft and flat no contrasting elements and it didn't work. This is just the opposite and worked well. Congratulations.

Both work. The framing with the trees adds punch. I'd lift the midtones in each. The signature in the B&W version distracts from the main subject.

I agree! This photo was begging to be converted and you did it perfectly.

B & W has much more pop to it.

The first, in natural Sepia, looks good, but neither have distracting colors. I like the vignetting in the second.

I like the B&W much better than the color version. Good job of converting and processing it.
