So many thoughts come to mind over this picture and I couldn't choose one that was more appropriate than the rest. Your thoughts on this would be as good any.

An interesting shot indeed. I like how the couple on the left seems to be in the same frame of mind as the couple on the right although a very different expression they too seem to be in the same mind. The guy on the far right is either wondering what everyone is engrossed in or thinking he already knows and it isn't worth the effort. :-)

Kinda reminds me of an Edward Hopper painting, only the subjects are in B/W: individuals, in a crowd, engrossed in their own thoughts, unaware of the others, save for the marginalized, ostracized(?) smoker/watcher on the right. American isolationalist tendencies captured.

Great shot! For better or worse, it certainly does depict our modern culture.

Nice street shot. The more I look at it, the more I become intrigued by the watcher on the right--wonder what he’s thinking?
