Hi! New user from Uruguay.. very south of South America

Hi!
Let me introduce myself:
I live in Uruguay, the smallest country in the very south of South America. You can find me at 34.798563° South, 55.891556° West
I consider myself a rookie amateur, despite the fact that I've been shooting photos for the last 40 years.
The reason for that is that I've never found the time to really practice "good photography". Now at 51, I'm trying - once again - to learn how to make really nice pictures.
I've owned many cameras: my first one was a Russian Zenith E, I still own a Zeiss Kontaflex, an Olympus trip 35 and and also had a Samsung AF SLIM ZOOM 290W Panorama.
I'm now shooting a Nikon P510 and a Sony RX100M3 and also an Olympus Tough 860 (that one good for beach photography)
Despite the fact that I've probably shot tens of thousands of photos, I'm still learning, and this forum provided me with lots of useful information and insight.

Welcome to the forum as well. First I started learning photography way back in 1976 just starting high school. Great fun and a lot of work. Now years later I'm still learning. I was teaching my son as well One of the great characteristics of photographers is humility. A great trait to carry in your camera case!
