for a doggie walk. The air was crisp, but the sun warming. The snow was deep, but not too deep and a good time was had by all of us participating in the adventure.

Fences are unique around here because they usually border one square mile sections. The fence in the foreground goes down the draw and then up and over the barren hill and up the mountain beyond.

Nice shots Mark. Not so sunny up here today @ Trout Creek/Noxon; snow to sleet, then to rain ... no photos for me today. My dog is getting cabin fever so will have to get out tomorrow, regardless. Say, are those the Sapphire Mountains in the background?

Hi Bill, thanks for looking and sorry to hear about the weather. Those are mountains of the Flint Creek range and the Sapphires are about 40 miles behind them to the northwest.

Thanks Bmac. That crackling of the snow is a sound that really sticks in your head.

Very nice images. The highly reflective white snow presents a challenge to exposure. I'm guessing several were underexposed a tad....notice the bluish cast in the snow. The third "appears" to have the best exposure.....the snow is white.

Nice images and it must have been a nice walk as well. It's been cold here, BUT, not the snow you have. Darn! Loved viewing these.

I like 1 with the contrast between the snow and the golden grass color.

Very nice. Too cold up there for this old Cajun boy. I do like to visit, though!
