A survey showed about 770 million people in the world would like to live in the U.S.
What gets me is do the environmentalists think open boarders is a good idea for our land.

What issue date did you get this from. We are paper Strib subscribers so I can fact check if it doesn't go too far back.

"Nearly 70,000 noncitizens living lawfully in Minnesota could be affected by the regulation because they use one of four major public benefits identified in the proposal, according to an analysis by the Migration Policy Institute, a Washington, D.C.-based think tank."

What are the four major public benefits identified in the proposal. The article didn't name them.

This "meme" is a little misleading, these 70,000 non citizens are here legally. The meme leaves that out and one might think it's implying that they are i*****l a***ns.

After Lord Babylon deregulated/weakened environmental protections across the board, you have a bone to pick with environmentalists? You won!

On the other hand, environmentalists had the country so bound up with regulations that it stifled the economy unnecessarily. I'm not saying that regulations aren't needed, but environmentalists want to impose their agenda regardless of consequences. Not every reg. is wise. Tell me, since you're so glib in calling Trump Lord Babylon, what regulations that were eased have had deleterious effects upon the environment?

I prefer the Rasta pronunciation of Babylon, Bah-bee-lon.

The list of deregulations is long. The National Geographic's running list of how Lord Babylon is changing environmental policy

https://news.nationalgeographic.com/2017/03/how-trump-is-changing-science-environment/

Has there been an oil spill in the Arctic with the green light being given for offshore drilling? Not yet.

Has anyone suffered from increased mercury release in the coal trade? Too soon to tell, it was only increased last week.

Has relaxing car emissions become a public health menace yet? Too soon to tell.

Perhaps you can list the bad regulations that were a corporate millstone.

Minnesota,,, ?? Oh! the Canadians... Yes build a wall and blow up the Queens Bridge between Detroit and Winsor.

The wall is not as simple as going to Lowes and buying fencing to keep your neighbors out of your backyard... Trump is a showman and using cheerleader phrases like build a wall and having the chorus chant it is as useful as the ole "44 40 or fight." ["Fifty-four forty or fight!" was the popular slogan that led President Polk to victory against all odds.]

Fool leads where fools follow.
