imo, I wouldn't trust fstoppers or any reviews for that matter. this is coming from a person that's writer reviews for fstoppers, DPReview, Yelp, Tripadvisor, and others sites, only to have those reviews removed and my account/s banned. Clearly I have a different outlook on reviews and these sites don't you to hear the truth.

From the article above by Alex Cooke:
"they're capable cameras that you can take great pictures with. I'm not disputing that. What's so frustrating, though, is that Canon and Nikon could have done so much better."

Apparently they couldn't have done better or else they would have. Product development is difficult and Sony et. al. are several years of development ahead of Canicon. They both waited too long.

Alex should definitely buy a camera he likes from a company that meets his expectations for doing better.

I think his article is the equivalent of "Flame Bait", it's a sensational headline intended to generate lots of responses and hits to the site.

@PixelStan77 Ken? Sure I've used his site several times as well as Chris Frost videos. Do I trust them?. no.. but they do write up some details articles about lenses and equipment. In other words, I wouldn't base a camera or lens purchase based on someone's review.

You never know if a camera reviewer has an ax to grind or trying to plug a certain product. I always read camera reviews with an open mind, it's easy to sit back and say "Nikon and Canon could have done much better"...without going into specifics like, how do you produce an innovative camera without bringing up the price too high?
