Christmas Eve day the Acorn Woodpeckers and the Squirrels had a bucket line going getting peanuts before the crows could steal them. I put out peanuts three times. Some times there were three of each in the yard at one time, a couple of Jays in the playhouse where I also put some peanuts. And of course the finches, doves, sparrows, lesser goldfinches and a Towhee or two after the other types of feed. I was enjoying just watching I really didn't take many pictures. Then Christmas day the Squirrels and Crows were after the peanuts with the rest of the crowd going for the sunflowers etc. (and every so often a hummer after nectar on both days). I heard the Jays and Woodpeckers but was so busy I didn't see them when I had a chance to glance out. Now today the sparrows, finches and lesser goldfinches are coming in getting food and then taking off when the hawk(s) come around. Nothing for almost an hour now except the crows flew over and kept going. If I put out more peanuts the crows and squirrels will be out. Ah, the hawk must be gone, the crowd is back plus a flock of doves. I had better put out more food before I go make lunch.
