Boxing Day. I took Blue for a run over the Towans Sand Dunes and then onto the beach ( 3 miles of sand) back. Beautiful day with no wind and he had a great time. Had to leave Woody home as being 15 and nearly blind he would not have made it.. Well may be if we had all day and loads of rest time so he was better at home sleeping... Just pictures taken with my small Olympus Tough camera...

Looks like you and Blue had a wonderful time, Val, and what adorable pictures of Blue and beautiful shots of the beach! I think you made a good decision in leaving Woody snug and warm at home. I would do the same.

Thank you issa2006, Only 1/2 way into the walk on the last picture but I think he had ran a few miles up and down the dunes and did not want to stop and was still going strong when he had to get back in the car.. Yes he does have a long tongue

Thank you very much Donna, Blue certainly enjoyed himself and I enjoyed the walk, it was good to get him on a longer run with out Woody... We do walk and play ball in a field while Woody does his own thing in his own time in there.. Woody was asleep in the conservatory when we left and was asleep on the room sofa when we got back so I think that he had not missed us...

Thank you very much BlueMorel, He had a great time and as the tide was out and a warm calm day there was plenty of owners and dogs there.. As it is a 3 mile stretch of sand and dunes to match I must have done about 4 miles and I would not like to think how many Blue did... Certainly a lot more than me

Hi Bob We had a good time the only think was we got home, its about 1/2 hour from me and Blue had dinner, a quick nap and typical collie was ready to go out again...
