The first image is a 1974 Porsche Ducktail. Believe this model was made in 1973 and 1974. These models were not first available in the U. S. because it was strictly a race car in Europe and could not be imported into the states.
The second image is a very nice 1983 Porsche Whaletail. It was "for Sale". It had 55,000 miles on it and the guy was asking $30,000 OBO.

A 928 is VERY expensive to maintain. Think more than twice before buying a 928. They are fast but EXPENSIVE TO MAINTAN!!

That is why the Chevy LS engine, even faster and not as expensive to maintain.

It's not just the engine Earnest. Every part in the 928 is expensive. They are great looking cars.

It is just a dream Don, at 76 that is all that I have. How about a 928 body on a Corvette chassis, would that work?
