Well now I am going to try a full frame and see what the difference will be. I shoot now with a 7D MKII mainly sports, football and hockey. I have a bunch of L glass and so now I shall see what I shall see. Even on the Canon refurbished site the price is $1099 body only and the items included are EOS 6D Mark II Body Refurbished, Eyecup Eb, Wide Strap EW-Eos6DMKII, Battery Pack LP-E6N, Battery Charger LC-E6.

I liked what I seen and I pulled the trigger.....first full frame camera for me.

Waiting now for UPS, Monday delivery. Merry Christmas to me!

You will love full frame for it's ability to capture the real details.

I have a 6D, too.

In my mind the BIGEST advantage this camera has over my crop camera is the ability to get sharp photographs in low light using high ISO settings.

Best,

Jason

I will agree on the ISO, that is the main advantage, I still use my 7d for wildlife and sports or moving objects due to the focus system. Would I invest in a full frame again ???? There is pluses and minus for any system.

Received the camera and going to shoot a hockey game in low light. The arena has stinky lighting and the roof is a dark brown wood color. I'll see how it works and I'll post a few photos from the game.

Edited in LR from Raw and then did some Topaz AI CLEAR. I like the results and these photos are great for the teams FB pages and good enough for me. What you guys think? Try to keep it civil please..... Thanking you all in advance for your input. Happy New Year 2019 to all, be safe on the roads this night. Shot at 1000 sec f/2.8 and ISO 6400 using Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 old version.
