This little cutie and a few of her buddies have been hanging around the feeder lately. Never seen her or them before.
Does anybody know who or what she is.

I am routinely on the Audubon app but I have not seen Finch family birds of this color. Can someone provide a verification? I am laughingly calling it a Bluecardinal.

If you look on Merlin bird ID app from Cornell it says House Finch. It goes on to explain the differences from the Purple. That agrees with my Nat Geo handbook. These are common in our back yard during summer. But then, I’m not an ornithologist.
