Cottage garden in Wrea Green, Lancashire.UK.
Pity I could not avoid the distracting dead tree on left of picture - but too much work to attempt to clone out - still I do think it came our pretty well.

Very nice. I do find it a distraction.

Thanks and I also find it a distraction - I was going to ask the owner of the cottage if she would cut it down before I took the photo but feared she may tell me to " go to the House of Abdul the taxidermist " lol!
A lovely cottage garden (my favorite kind) and an excellent shot, Bill.
This is nice, well exposed and well focused but the balance is wrong. There is too much visual weight on the left. Cloning out the branches on the left border should take less than 5 minutes and would help. Could you have moved the visual bulk of the tree trunk more to the right by moving left and shooting over those shrubs in lower left without doing damage to the presentation of the cottage? The detail in the clouds, if SLIGHTLY enhanced, should bring more interest to the photo as well.
