RONM12....Thanks for you email....I rented a nikon 14-24mm and a Tamron 15-30mm....after several pics with both lens, I decided to go with the Nikon........if I change me mind, I will send you a PM....I am hoping some one on this website will have the 14-24mm lens...

You wouldn't have rented a Nikon 16-35f4 or Nikon 17-35 f2.8 buy any chance?

No worries, I had the Nikon 14-24 and sold it for the Tamron. I will admit I liked the “feel” of the Nikon compared to the Tamrom. I didn’t think I’d lose much giving up 1mm on the low end, but thought the 6mm on the higher end may provide some extra versatility . I’m in no hurry to sell it, pm me if you change your mind.

I bought the 14-24 f2.8 one year ago from nikonusa ,they usually have a year end sale on refurbished cameras and lens I paid $1375.00 and tax it looked brand new..has worked without a problem for a year this December 30th...and had a 90 day warranty

TCThome....I have used the 17-35mm lens and while it is a great lens...I keep going back to the 14-24mm lens....as for the other lens....I do not care for a lens with f/4....I prefer f/2.8....
