Thank you for looking Charles.
Thank you kpmac. Always glad to get your opinion.
Thanks again Mike. Have you ever seen the roundup?
That would be something to take part in. It looks like everyone came. Nice b/w!

Each year the DNR (Division of Natural Resources) in Utah has a roundup of the free roaming bison on Antelope Island in the Great Salt Lake. They check their health, get a count, and vaccinate. Then they turn them loose again.
photo #1 is of the roundup. You will definitely want to download this one to get the full impact.
photo #2 is of one of the cowboys that participated. All willing participants are welcome.
photo #3 is of Antelope Island taken from the causeway that connects the island to the mainland.
photo #4 is of one of the many other bonuses on the island. (Yes, that includes antelope)

No, but this set put it on my bucket list. I am on limited duty now because I broke my leg skiing yesterday.
Really enjoyed the photos, especially #1. For an unknown reason, I was unable to view the EXIF data and am curious as to the specifics, especially focal length. I think it would give us a feeling for the expanse of the area. I expect it was shot through a telephoto lens due to vastness, but surely might be wrong. Its been about 20 years since I was in UT. Feeling a need to return. Thanks, Tom
Great pics, really loved them. The B&W is so moody.

Nice set. My favorite? The bearded wrangler.

Is this what Santa does during his off season?
I took your advice and downloaded the first photo. It looks like there are more people and horses than bison.
