Photography in the fog.....

What I find interesting Jim, is that this is a far more complex photo than one may realize. I found by zooming into specific parts of the photograph, there are subtle aspects that in their selves that would make for a good photo - all to do with the fog. For instance, there is that bird, the people, what looks like a building (which is actually a clump of more trees) behind the trees, and so on. Pretty neat!
I would be interested in knowing how you accomplished this shot. I love the brilliant sun through the fog, and the bright foreground - certainly very difficult to bring off if using the auto mode. Thanks.
It is a great shot. A great photographer always finds the appropriate subject.
