Has anyone tried one of these Dark polarizers by Breakthrough Photography? I really like the idea of a PL and ND combined into one filter.

I tried the 3 stop about 3 months ago and it was not sharp at all - very soft! I found that strange because I have one of their 10 stop filters and it is super sharp just as it should be. So I sent that one back because they wanted to test it. I didn't hear anything from them and called in 2 weeks. They just nonchalantly said that "it was fine" when it obviously wasn't. I waited 3 months and ordered a replacement. The replacement is a lot better but still is not as sharp as it should be as compared to no filter or to all of my other high quality filters that are very sharp (including ND and PL's).

What are your experiences? Thank you.

I use nothing but Breakthrough Photography filters including polarizers and they are working just fine so far. Haven't experienced the problem you reported.
