This my first attempt to post so hope no rules are broken. I am attempting to shoot a micro of the orchid with a Nikon d750 and a Nikon micro 105 lens. Focus is manual, ambient light and apature and sutter were adjusted to present a balanced histogram. No post has been done. Would like criticism of shot

I would try to lower the exposure a little to show better leaf detail and then you may need to go back and make some slight adjustments after doing so!

A little over-exposed. The image is soft with very little detail and slightly out of focus. Macro is tough; stay with it. You are off to a good start.
