I was visiting my granddaughter last week, when I asked ifI could borrow a newspaper.
"This is the 21sr century," she said. "We don't waste money on newspapers. Here, use my iPad."

The I-Pad is really limited. We get the Philadelphia Inquirer and New York Times everyday, and the information that is available more than enough. Specifically the local details to your neighborhood.
The on line services don't have the time to go into the detail the Philadelphia Inquirer has, much of this detail is never seen except in the newspaper. Besides the on line reader's attention span can't last that long.

Yes I'm old, and yes I prefer a newspaper. I own a desktop and a laptop and a smart phone and three TVs and I still prefer to get my news from a news paper. When I travel I buy a local newspaper when I stop just because I like to.
