Hi, new member here, I’d like to introduce myself. A former New Yorker now living in China for almost 21 years now. Have traveled and photographed all over this country and like to travel the world taking photos on the way with my Nikon D4S and a backbreaking collection of Nikon lenses although most of the time lately it’s either my Nikon 14-24mm or the 28-300mm. Into candid people and landscapes mostly looking to improve my skills and to absorb your knowledge, feed me Seymour!

Welcome to the UHH chinabob and please post some of your photos. I was there for a month in 1987 and things were a bit different in those days. chase
Aloha chinabob and welcome to UHH. Would love to see some current photos as its been many years since I was there. You will probably receive some valuable critiques on your work.
Welcome to our forum!
We spent two weeks in China, including Beijing, twenty-one years ago.
My first visit was when I moved here in 98. Huge changes since then. Can only imagine from what my wife tells me what it was like before that
That’s about the same time I moved here. Different place now
Welcome to the forum Seymour.
These photos are from different regions of China I’ve been. The 1st and 3rd are from DaTong, Shanxi Province. The 2nd is from Shanghai Louha Temple, The 4th is of my wife being given a drink at the wedding of a Chinese Minority Miao couple in Guizhou province, the 5th is from a section of the Great Wall which is about 40 minutes from my house in Beijing, and the last being two Panda cubs in Chengdu, Sichuan province.
Hi, name is Bob. I made a joking reference to Seymour from “Little Shop of Horrors”
